Onion and Broccoli Seeds Started!

I have finally started my Onion and Broccoli seeds for the summer season 2011! I am way behind on my Onions but I will also sow some right in the dirt and also transplant the plants from my indoor garden which will hopefully then produce a bulb at the base instead of just having happy tops.

I have gotten my seeds for the next growing season from St. Clare seeds. 🙂 They are a home-based non-GMO business and very friendly. I got double the amount of Basil and Cilantro so I can grow it inside. (And I think from now on herbs will go in the indoor garden only…it just takes too long for the regular veggies to grow.)

So I planted some non-GMO Cilantro and Basil today! I will mark it on the calendar and mark again when I start harvesting. 🙂
